daphne bobbin, how to describe her. she's the little blonde hufflepuff that you've probably not even noticed but she has been here for all of six years. she likes to keep herself to herself but if you want to find her she can normally find her wandering around the herbology class room, down around the lake or as close to the forrest as she can get to have a look at the different offerings the world of flora has for her. she is mildly obsessed with the natural world, if she could spend her life in a garden she would be one happy witch. when she's not got her hand in soil though, she is sitting in the hufflepuff common room talking with her friends and trying to keep herself as friendly and social as possible, even if she doesn't feel like it. she is a people pleaser to her core so if sitting talking for hours makes people happier than sitting in silence, enjoying the peace, then she'll do it. she can't help but to put other peoples needs above her own, although it's something she'd trying to work on. she doesn't want to be a doormat forever, she just wants to make sure that she keeps the friends she has.

FRIENDS well as such a people pleaser i'm sure daphne will be surrounded by people she likes to call her friends. she's a little too nice to be friends with some of the darker members of the schools population, but that wouldn't stop her from trying to befriend them. she wants to try and keep the peace across the board so wouldn't be doing anything to ruffle anyone the wrong way. well aside from her general nature which may gain her some ...

ENEMIES not everyone is a fan of the sickly sweet nice girl after all. she does have a tough side to her if you push her too far but normally she is the girl who tries to see the best in people and wants them to be happy. i can see quite a few people being disgusted by her displays of affection to her friends and constant cookie/muffin supply to deal out to them.

and all that is left are LOVERS she is a one woman girl but it just happens that at the moment she is trying to keep that fact secret. she has been since she realised that she was a girls girl when she was thirteen. as a result she might have had a couple of boyfriend figures from guys her friends had tried to set her up with, but obviously they wouldn't have worked out. at the moment though she just admires from afar, but i'm sure some pretty girl could change that up for her.

hey! i'm jacqui and this here is marlene mckinnon. she's a seventeen year old gryffindor student whose goal by the end of school is to snog as many reasonably attractive boys she can. although she's a generally nice person, marley here is extremely conceited and loves attention. but she doesn't judge people so if she some how did find out that daphne was into girls, her reaction would be "erm, yeah, so what?" or something like that. knowing marlene, she's been there and done that when she was wasted at a party over the summer. she treats her friends like they're family and is a problem solver. i'm not sure how they would know each other, but i think that marlene would see daphne as a sister of sorts, help her out when she needed it and all of that.

that would be super adorable. i think she would have been a little bit nervous around marlene to begin with but then when they got more friendly she felt really comfortable around her because she was so open and awesome about everything? maybe she could be the first person at hogwarts that daffy tells, just because she feels like she can be honest and comfortable around her? plus, think how adorable they would look together giggling about stuff? lol

totally bffs! i can just see them now sitting in the common room having a quiet little conversation with each other, talking excitedly about things that they don't really with anyone else? like amelia can spaz about her quidditch skills to her and daffy could share all these amazing news plants she's found in books and just be adorable and sweet with each other. i don't think she would have told her yet because she had to pay for it big time when she last decided to tell a best friend about her sexuality but she would be working up the courage to do it for sure. <3

aww yay! that would be amazing! we totally should. daphne is all confused at the moment because she kind of has a bit of a crush on alice but doesn't really talk about it, but uses it to try and distract her from the way that fliss gets under her skin, so she could use a friend to help her distract her! a thread or something sounds aces. do you want to start or should i?
