please refrain from jumping amos here until i'm finished rambling c: i figured that he has to have an attractive play-by since amos diggory in gof was...well you know what i'm talking about. so he's cedric diggory's future father but right now he's a seventeen year old hufflepuff. basically, he grew up as an only child in a cute little country cottage on the edge of a forest in derbyshire. everyone in his family went to hogwarts so of course, he couldn't wait to go as well. amos here got sorted into good old hufflepuff and life was awesome. of course his parents got a little...over excited that they got the house to themselves and nine months later amos' little sister lydia was born. i saw a picture of blake lively when she was a kid tonight and immediately began to picture lydia like this. how cute. his parents were fussing over his little sister now, so amos turned to quidditch. it's okay because he loved her sister heaps, even though she'd try to stick crayons up his nose and throw dolls at him. moving on. amos really wanted in on the hufflepuff quidditch team so he practiced non stop until finally, in his third year, he got onto the team as chaser. mr. diggory was an auror so he was extremely overprotective of his family, this is relevant information, i promise. that christmas break, amos' friends were going to a quidditch match but his dad was going away on a mission in wales so he was all "you can't go, stay at home and look after your mother and sister". so amos was peeved off and they had this fight, then a few days later they found out that mr. diggory was killed in some fucked up duel against some death eaters. mrs. diggory was distraught, so it was up to amos to take care of her and his younger sister as much as he could. the family recovered eventually, but amos has always felt guilty that he acted like a dickhead to his father the last time he saw him. let's skip a few years shall we? fifth year, amos becomes hufflepuff prefect. skip, skip, skip. okay, summer before seventh year. he's just found out that he's going to be hufflepuff quidditch captain and lydia decides to call him captain amos for the next two weeks, forcing him to wear a pirate hat. you can read a more detailed description in amos' app, but basically they woke up one morning to find lydia gone. thinking she was just playing in the forest with her silly stuffed animals, amos went looking for her and instead saw the dark mark and lydia's body underneath it. obviously some of these death eaters wanted revenge or something like that for what mr. diggory had done previously and they thought this would be the best way to do it. now amos and his sister were close, the ultimate big brother/little sister relationship. so yeah, now he's this sort of empty person who everyone thinks is prone to mental breakdowns. he doesn't make friends easily, let's just put it that way. amos is a very shy and reserved type of person, which makes it difficult for people to warm up to him. a lot of people just think he's some stuck up prat who is too good for anyone, but trust me, he's the complete opposite. he's a good friend to have. doesn't judge, trustworthy, loyal. all average qualities of a hufflepuff. but he's going to need friends. if he knows you're associated with voldy and his entourage, he'll hate you. nuff said. he's the type of guy who was raised to act like a gentleman, so he'll hold doors open for girls and help them out whenever they need it. amos doesn't go through relationships like pieces of parchment, he likes commitment and won't throw himself onto any girl he sees. remember, we need a mrs. diggory c: that's all i have, i apologize if you actually read all of that. you can jump him now!

us puffs got to stick together? c: amy's the seeker on the quidditch team & she's also rather shy & quiet, so maybe they just naturally fell into being friends with each other? amy would be so sad about lydia, & she'd be terrified about anything happening to connor ( her little brother, he's five :c ) so she'd definitely have understood the over-protectiveness. amy will try & do what she can to cheer him up, but she'll get that amos needs time & stuff. amy's the future mrs. bones, but maybe we could do something? she doesn't really have much patience for edgar right now, & she'd be more than happy to spend her time with amos 'cause he's pretty mmhm. idk, idk, i just wanted to post here. c: feel free to add / edit / delete / whatever.

definitely. i can see amos being good friends with people on his quidditch team and because of their similarities, i think that amos and amelia would have become friends really easily. he needs someone who understands that he just needs time to get over everything because i believe a lot of people would be trying to help him get over it when he really needs time just to cope. awww susan bones (: yay for future hufflepuffs! well amos isn't his self right now so perhaps they hook up once or twice and idk, i'm brain dead for ideas atm c: i think these two would hang out quite a bit though!

WRONG ACCOUNT FAIL! BUT I HAVE AN IDEA. so we all know Lia used to be a nice girl, at least for a slytherin. Then Sirius messed her about, broke her heart and she got spiteful. Well I kinda wanted a guy, to sort of, be a friend of hers. Well at least Lia always sorta saw him as a friend, but he kinda had feelings for her. So when she was dating Sirius, he would kinda always be there to catch her when he broke her heart and to give he a shoulder to cry on. Then when she had the personality change, he still believed in the good in her and refused to accept her for what she had become. NOW...i was thinking that, after all this frank stuff comes out, alot of people will turn their back on her... disgusted by what she has done, the guy being on of them. This shocks Lia, and sends her on a journey to sort of find herself again. I wanted her to have an almost Quinn like journy from glee? So as she develops as a person, she finds herself falling for the guy? I dont know if you wanted the guy to be amos, it was just an idea i was playing about with and was going to request later on. I was also thinking, if it was amos. Maybe later along the line, it could be revealed that her father a had a hand in the killing of his father and sister? Cos that would be amazing.

ohmygosh I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU JUST SAID c: it sounds extremely epic. i am totally fine with that guy being amos of course. it would also add so much extra drama in the future if it turned out that lia's father was partially involved in the death's of amos' father and sister.

So i vote we get them rolling...maybe a note for now, but then a thread when he finds out about her affair with frank?
